“Not all streets are created equal”, writes Nick Mafi for Architectural Digest Travel.

Mafi selected 19 streets from the historic and colorful Aldama Street in San Miguel De Allende to the monumental Paris Champs-Élysées to the stunning natural features of the Cherry Blossom Avenue in Bonn, Germany, which makes an appearance for a few short weeks every spring.

One omission we would like to include is the street that slices through the core of one of the worlds greatest cities – Broadway in New York City.

Broadway runs from State Street at Bowling Green for 13 mi (21 km) through the boroughs of Manhattan, the Bronx, exiting north from the city to run an additional 18 mi (29 km) terminating north of Sleepy Hollow in Westchester County.

Broadway, a tale of two streets. The daylight highlights the art deco structures lining the avenue, and the lights in the night like a sequence party dress turn Broadway into wild beauty.
